As I reported earlier, a week after a scandal broke involving photos of American troops torturing Iraqi prisoners, Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown, & Root is pulling the plug on private electronic communications with the folks back home, apparently at the request of the Department of Defence.

Well, I asked my cousin Mitch about it, and this is what he had to say:
I'm pretty sure it's false, or at least here it is. We only have one kbr ran internet place here and I haven't been up there in a little while, but as far as i know it's still up. Even w/o it I can still post cause we have plenty of military ran stuff here. But I haven't heard, it may just be where that soldier is.
So, there you have it. I'll let you know if I hear anything else.
